Blue Ribbon programs

The Collaboration for a New Century, a Phoenix non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of the poor and disadvantaged, picked six proven charitable programs to receive professional training and hands-on support from Phoenix-area business leaders and volunteers over the next year. They are:

• Save the Family (www.savethe family.org)

• Glendale Family Development Center (www.familydevcenter.com)

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona (www.bbbsaz.org)

• Community Service of Arizona (www.csaz.org)

• Arizona Women's Education and Employment (www.awee.org)

• Chandler Education Foundation - San Marcos Center (www.chandleredfoundation.org)
