Parent Skills Program

The Parenting Skills Programs (PSP) includes a variety of individual, group, and family courses to increase family competency - positive family communication, healthy family boundaries, appropriate discipline, respect, etc. Courses are taught by a master's level Instructor under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor and include but are not limited to, Identifying Quality Childcare, The Learning Basket, The School Readiness Kit, Choices for Parents of Young Children, Common Sense Parenting, Parent to Parent, Family Camp, The Breakable Vow, and Violence in Society.



In addition, the staff provides Parent Interventions for difficult family/children/youth problems that may include other community providers. The staff also helps the parent monitor children/youth progress and attendance in school.
